Worm Farm Workshop
September 1, 2020 –
Why pay for soil improvers and plant food, when worms can help make some for us (using things we'd otherwise put into the bin)?
Join Kevin and Debbie from The Worm Shed for a workshop covering all aspects of worms, worm farming and the roles worms play in recycling and waste management, as well as the set-up, operation and maintenance of a worm farm. Following the presentation there will be opportunity for an informal question time with Kev.
City of Melville residents who participate in this workshop will be able to purchase a complete Worm Cafe set-up on the night at the subsidised price, as well as many other products such as Worms, Castings and Worm Wiz! Worm Cafe's and other products must be pre-ordered.
Please note: The City of Melville offers a subsidy to its residents, reducing the out of pocket expense for a full worm cafe set-up to $100.00, payable direct to The Worm Shed, on the night. Correct cash preferred but eftpos available.
You must pre-order worm farm products prior to the event. Pre-order by emailing environmental.education@melville.wa.gov.au.
