Let's celebrate National Bird Week! Join BirdLife WA for a walk around Piney Lakes Reserve to see and hear some of the birds that live here, and learn about the vital relationship between birds and plants .
Before or after your walk, grab a coffee from the White Rabbit Coffee Bar (remember your Keep-Cup!), take a peek into the City of Melville Repair Lab, and see the birds from the WA Birds of Prey Centre. BirdLife WA will also have some merchandise for sale, including cards, books, hats and badges, and Betty Garlett will be doing cultural face-painting.
Registrations are required and will close at 3.00pm on Friday the 22nd of October.
Access: Some unsealed paths. Enclosed footwear, long pants, sunscreen, hat and water needed. Binoculars provided.
