Seville Grove,
Join members of the Wildflower Society when they present the second in this series of talks about wildflowers that bloom during each of the six Noongar seasons.
This particular presentation will cover the season of Kamberang which falls during the months of October and November.
This is when our local bushland is still flushed with beautiful wild flowers. Temperatures are beginning to rise which sees the winter inundated damp lands drying out as the water recedes, and the arrival of masses of small colourfully flowered ephemeral plants. It is during this season when the Balga and Bull Banksia start flowering and the fruit of the Quandong begin to ripen as do the native cranberries.
This free session is for adults.
