Sustainable Bayswater – Drug Aware Presents Friendly Footprint
October 4, 2020 –
As part of the Sustainable Bayswater program, Friendly Footprint is event for young people aged 12-25 in the City of Bayswater to learn simple and practical sustainability skills.
This will be a day of free workshops at Environment House with information and activities to give young people skills to live more sustainability.
BASKET WEAVING, 10am-12pm
Create a funky and functional woven basket
BEESWAX WRAPS, 12.30pm-1.30pm
Make your own resuable food wraps
COMPOSTING, 2pm-3pm
Learn about composting and receive a free Bokashi Bin, compost bin or worm farm*
GROW AND EDIBLE GARDEN, 3pm-4pm
Make a mini edible garden to take home
Plus
MINI 'SHARE AND REPAIR' 2-3pm
CLOTHES SWAP 10am - 4pm
Please note, community members of all ages are welcome, however only young people aged 12-25 are eligible to participate in the workshops.
As this is a ticketed event with limited places available, we encourage you to save the date and arrive early on the day.
