Recycle Right Rangers: Introductory Workshop
September 25, 2021 –
Come and join likeminded individuals who are passionate about creating positive, sustainable change in their community!
The Recycle Right Rangers is a volunteer group under the umbrella of the Southern Metropolitan Regional Council’s ‘Recycle Right’ Education Program working to encourage and assist residents and businesses in Western Australia to recycle, reduce their waste and live more sustainably.
Members of the Recycle Right Rangers volunteer at community events, tours, school incursions and educational workshops all over Perth. You’ll get the opportunity to join exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of waste and recycling facilities, provide feedback on the Recycle Right waste education material, attend quarterly workshops, gain a ‘Working with Children Check’ card, and receive valuable experience working with the community and school children on waste education.
The introductory workshop will include a tour of the RRRC, 'get to know you ' activities, waste education training, a presentation on the program, upcoming opportunities and all the perks of being a Ranger. Morning tea is provided.
