Bullsbrook,
The South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL) presents this workshop on the Noongar calendar and the role of native Australian plants in the garden. Discover the native Australian plants which were traditionally used by the Whadjuk Noongar people for medicine and survival, and how you can incorporate them into your own garden today!
In this presentation, as part of the Phosphorus Awareness Project, you'll also learn about the environmental impacts of phosphorus-rich fertilizers, and how we can protect our local environment by being more conscious of the things we plant in our gardens.
Free event but please book in as spaces are limited. For all inquiries contact Bullsbrook Public Library on (08) 9207 8989.
