Kitchen Garden and Growing in Containers: Seed to Feed

In this workshop participants will be shown how to create seed raising soil, sow seeds, nurture seedlings, transplant seedlings and grow container vegetable gardens. We will also discuss composting and how to brew fermented liquid compost tea.
Charles Snelleksz-Mathelot is an eco-spiritualist, researcher, educator, Co-creative Natural farmer, food alchemist, Earth poet and Earth song man. He has years of experience working with Earth consciousness to assist people to strengthen their connection with the Earth and our environment.
Charles has spent years understanding the difference between living soil and dead soil, and how soil health impacts the health and quality of food. He also spent years studying and researching the connection between soil and the living gut and why eating local is best for optimal health of the body biome.
On his family urban farm, Charles and his partner Christel, welcome the abundance of wild edibles (weeds) and see them as free food and tonics for both the garden and for gut health.
