This is the second in a series of workshops and presentations on Australia's Coastal Birds. Join us and learn how to safely monitor the threatened Hooded Plover.

Hooded Plovers are cryptic birds who spend their whole lives on our beaches. With their black heads and red bills, they might be more easily spotted than some other birds, but it is understanding their behaviour which is important in monitoring Hooded Plovers. During this presentation you with learn how to monitor Hooded Plovers in a manner than is safe for both you and the birds, and how to interpret their behaviours so you can understand the secret lives they leave.
