Helena Valley Wildlife Spotto with Simon Cherriman
September 30, 2021 –
Have you ever wondered about the wildlife living in your local area? Come and learn about how to identify wildlife, with a focus on trees, birds and reptiles, with ecologist, Simon Cherriman.
The event begins with an audiovisual presentation showcasing some common wildlife species that occur in backyards, streetscapes and remnant bushland, and a short Backyard Biodiversity film. We will then head out on a nature walk to a local reserve in Boya to tick off a range of "nature spotto" items.
This activity is for school-aged children children 6 years and over. The workshop will go for 90 minutes. Bookings are essential for this free event.
Children aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Participants will need a hat, water bottle, and closed-in shoes.
