Wildlife Painting with Belinda Eldridge (Ellenbrook)
Ellenbrook Community Library90 Main StEllenbrook,In this workshop led by Belinda Eldridge, participants will paint nature themed wooden discs focusing on wildlife of the Perth hills.
Belinda is well known for her paintings of Australian birds and encourages participants to enjoy creating in her workshops by allowing free expression in a relaxed and supportive environment.
All materials are included in this workshop, and selected pieces of your choice go towards a final group installation artwork for the Ellenbrook Library!
Please note that this program is suitable for ages 6 -10, and is a hands-on painting workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

Thinking Green: Watercolour native flowers (Guildford)
Guildford Public Library97 James StGuildford,In the next couple of months, our local bushland will put on a striking display of native flowers. Miriam Gardiner will guide attendees in painting some of these using various watercolour techniques, including painting Everlasting Daises , using watercolours in brush and gouache.

Nature know-how: Meet the animals at Native Animal Rescue
Native Animal Rescue170 Camboon RdMalaga,Native Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organisation which cares and rehabilitates sick, injured, orphaned and displaced native animals so they can return to their natural habitat. They have a variety of animals on site throughout the year including Black Cockatoos, owls, Tawny Frogmouths, Nankeen Kestrals, Australian Hobbys and Redcapped parrots, Woylies, Western Ringtail Possums, snakes, lizards and frogs.
The tour will begin with a wildlife interaction with some of the educational animals and exploration of the education area before heading to the Black Cockatoo area and lake, weather permitting.
