Freo Permies Perma-Blitz
BeaconsfieldWe are back! Thank you for being patient with the COVID lockdown. But now that things have settled down we can get back to it!
Perma-Blitz events are a whirlwind of activity as we come together to make permaculture plans a reality.
Please follow the Eventbrite link to grab a ticket! It’ll help us plan for catering. You will be notified of the address only after you secure a FREE ticket.
For this months event we are welcoming everyone to come and take a look at what has been happening at Brendan and Sarah's place!
Nestled into a historic part of Beaconsfield, Sarah and Brendan have been busy with renovations and improvements over the last year, and are now ready to get their backyard back into a productive food forest!
Arrive by 9am for a cup of tea and a walk around, before Brendan and Sarah will go over their design ideas and we will get ourselves sorted into teams.
Jobs for the day will include defining paths, sheet-mulching, weeding, harvesting, planting fruit trees, and making vegetable beds. As we work you’ll be guided by our 'team leads' who will help to not only teach you the task, but help you understand the theory and interconnectedness behind the activities.
Yummy morning tea and lunch will be provided to keep you nourished - including gluten free and vegan options.
We will wrap up by 2.30-3.00pm before sitting back and celebrating what we've all created!
