Botanical Drawing (Beechboro)
Beechboro Public Library332 Benara RdBeechboro,A combination of art and botany, botanical drawing is the illustration of plant species with accurate form, colour and details. Una Bell, artist, environmental enthusiast, and author will guide participants through the basics of botanical drawing.
Attendees will need to bring paper, โleadโ pencils, a pencil sharpener, eraser, ruler and coloured pencils (optional). No botanical drawing experience is required. This program is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.

Kalamunda Hotel43 Railway RdKalamunda,We are thrilled to celebrate the recent WA government announcement to end native forest logging, but another major threat - bauxite mining -remains. Jeff Bremer (Jarrahdale Forest Protectors) and Jennie Wise (Dwellingup Discovery Forest Defenders) will tell us more about it and discuss alternatives to help stop this expansion.
Light snacks will be provided from 6pm before a start at 6:30pm. (Food and drinks can also be purchased from the pub)

Cannington Exhibition CentreCnr Station St & Albany HwyCannington,Get set for a day of relaxation, cute animals, environmental insight and good times as CAHRS departs on its annual roadtrip, stopping by two fantastico destinations on Saturday 11 December.
๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐: Including return ferry and penguin feeding in the Discovery Centre. Ferry to the Island not mandatory - you are welcome to spend the morning on the beach or at Pengoโs Cafรฉ.
๐๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฉ: Next stop is lunch and a nature walk around Naragebup โ Rockingham Regional Environmental Centre - featuring marine/freshwater aquariums, worm farming, bush tucker trail, organic community garden and more!
Celebrating National Volunteer Week with subsidised tickets for Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society Inc (CAHRS) Members, this annual road trip will be a chance for new and old members to meet, mingle and enjoy a day of relaxing fun.
