NRPG Social and Speaker - "Should our remaining Jarrah forests be bulldozed for Bauxite?"
Kalamunda Hotel43 Railway RdKalamunda,We are thrilled to celebrate the recent WA government announcement to end native forest logging, but another major threat - bauxite mining -remains. Jeff Bremer (Jarrahdale Forest Protectors) and Jennie Wise (Dwellingup Discovery Forest Defenders) will tell us more about it and discuss alternatives to help stop this expansion.
Light snacks will be provided from 6pm before a start at 6:30pm. (Food and drinks can also be purchased from the pub)

Discover which native plants last the longest, which can be found and collected without harming local environments, and how to bring them all together and create a beautiful work of art. All equipment will be provided and you will be able to take your project home.
No craft experience is required. This program is suitable for adults and young people aged 14 and over.
